What is the Great Lakes 300 LITE?

GL300 LITE is a one-day, high-energy indoor archery tournament with a vertical 3-spot qualification round followed by head-to-head bracket eliminations.

Shooter cap: 60 total competitors

This is a competitive format event with cash payouts.

Is this a USA Archery / Sanctioned Event?

No.

GL300 LITE is completely independent.
There are no sanctions and no membership requirements.

Where is the event held?

Hosted at:

Fenton Land-O-Lakes Bowmen Inc.
Fenton, Michigan

Primary shooting will take place on the indoor range.
The outdoor range will be open.

What target is used?

A Vertical 3-Spot Target (not Vegas triangle layout).

Qualification is:

10 ends
3 arrows per end
30 arrows total
Judge scored

Maximum possible score: 300

How many shooters advance to eliminations?

Compound Division

Top 8 shooters advance to bracket elimination.

Traditional Division – Bracket Structure

Number of Traditional Shooters determines bracket size:

• 12 or fewer Traditional archers → Top 4 advance directly to Semifinals
• 13 or more Traditional archers → Top 8 advance to Quarterfinals

Shooter cap is 60 — once full, registration closes.

The Great Lakes 300 is a premier Michigan-based, two-day indoor archery tournament built around the 300 format.

It is a premium independent competition designed to serve as a flagship event — limited field, structured divisions, and cash payouts.

This is a performance-driven tournament experience.

Is the Great Lakes 300 sanctioned?

No.

The GL300 is fully independent.

No sanction requirement
No membership requirement

How does the 2-Day format work?

Day 1 – Qualification

300 Round Format
3 arrows per end
10 ends
30 arrows total
Judge scored

Maximum score: 300

Qualification scores determine elimination seeding.

Day 2 – Eliminations & Finals

Top qualifiers in each division advance into head-to-head bracket eliminations.

Match structure:

Multi-end cumulative scoring
Championship match format determined by bracket size

Finals are shot under pressure format in front of spectators.
